ISLAMABAD (Daily Dunya) - Verdict in Panama Leaks case is likely to be announced by the Supreme Court in mid-April.

All political parties, including the ruling PML-N and opposition party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), are looking at apex court for Panamagate’s verdict in order to devise future political strategy.
Justice Asif Saeed Khosa had remarked at end of hearing that Panamagate’s judgement would be remembered for next twenty years.
PTI’s Imran Khan, last year, announced siege of federal capital as Nawaz Sharif snubbed Khan’s demand of resignation. It was then followed by demonstrations of PTI’s members countrywide.
On October 20, 2016, the Supreme Court (SC) took up petitions by PTI, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Awami Muslim League (AML) and others for hearing, in an open court.
The apex court wrapped up hearing on February 23 and reserved judgement. Since then, speculations are continuously emerging.
It should be recalled that the issue emanated from leakage of at least 11.5 million documents from dataebase of Panama-based law firm, Mossack Fonseca backed in April, 2016.
