QUETTA (Dunya News) – Stray dogs roaming around in the streets in Quetta are risking lives of locals as five dogs attacked an eight-year-old boy in Mian Ghundi area.

According to details, minor boy Zahoor Ahmed was going to school when dogs badly injured him in an attack. The locals rescued the child and took him to the hospital.

The hospital administration provided first aid to the victim and refused to admit him as no female was accompanying him.

However, child’s health deteriorated due to lack of vaccination at the hospital.

Earlier last year, provincial government had launched a campaign to control increasing breed of stray dogs but no fruitful outcome was achieved.
