PPP will clean sweep the upcoming elections within Punjab, reveals Zardari
MULTAN (Dunya News) – PPP Co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari has revealed that the former chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry wanted to become president and was a political judge.
He expressed this while talking to media alongside the former PM Yousaf Raza Gillani and former Minister for Religious Affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi.
At the occasion, he also congratulated Hamid Saeed Kazmi as the latter was released from Adiala jail on Wednesday.
"I will openly ask the former chief justice to have some shame," professed Asif Zardari.
The former president also expressed that PPP will clean sweep the upcoming elections within Punjab.
He recounted that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto once told me as to why all the court’s verdicts came not in our favour and not against Nawaz Sharif.
PPP Co-chairman expressed at the occasion that Bilawal Bhutto is busy in the restructuring of the party.
