Bahria Town assures full assistance for garbage disposal in Karachi
Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz said the cleanliness drive will launch from Monday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Bahria Town authorities have voluntarily assured to provide full assistance to Sindh government in discarding the heaps of garbage in Karachi.
Talking to Dunya News, Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz said that the cleanliness drive will launch from Monday for which Sindh government is in continuous contact.
He said that the public will the result in one week.

On the other hand, 100-day cleanliness campaign, launched by Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar in December last year, is expiring today (Friday) but no positive outcome has been gained.
According to details, the mayor has claimed to have removed 0.25 million ton garbage from six union councils in Central District but not a single street has been made clean from the litter.
People living in North Karachi, North Nazimabad, Federal B Area and Liaquatabad said their areas remain untouched in the campaign as heaps of garbage are still visible on the roads.
