Lahore blast suspect had three accomplices, reveals initial report

Police and intelligence agencies have recovered the CCTV footage of the explosion.

LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Initial investigation into Lahore blast that killed thirteen people and left 86 injured has revealed that the suicide bomber was not alone and was roaming on Mall Road with three accomplices.

According to details, police and intelligence agencies have recovered the CCTV footage of the explosion in which it was shown that the attacker came from Regal Chowk along with another suspect.

The bomber came near DIG captain (r) Syed Ahmed Mobin and SSP Zahid Gondal without any resistance and blew himself.

It was mentioned in the FIR that the attacker and his three accomplices who fled the scene before the explosion took place were wandering on Mall Road fearlessly.

However at 6:10 pm on Monday, the suspect exploded himself at a protest of pharma manufactures and chemists.

The report sent to Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif also revealed that various deaths occurred due to strike of ball bearings on victims’ heads.
