US denies visa to Senate Deputy Chairman Abdul Ghafoor Haideri
Raza Rabbani reacts sharply to decision, says will never send any parliamentary delegation to US
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – The United States (US) has on Saturday denied Senate Deputy Chairman Abdul Ghafoor Haideri the visa which he had requested in order to attend a talk as the head of a parliamentary delegation on February 13 and 14 in New York, reported Dunya News.
The senator had requested the visa last week and it has been rejected. Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani has reacted sharply to the insult, saying that no parliamentary delegation would be sent to the US in future.
In his letter to United Nations (UN), Rabbani has stated that no parliamentary delegation would be sent to the US unless the Trump administration explains reasons for rejecting Abdul Ghafoor Haideri’s visa request.
