KARACHI (Dunya News) – Karachi city still witness heaps of garbage and filth in various areas despite the launch of mayor’s 100-day cleanliness campaign.
Atleast 43 days have passed since the campaign has begun but the residents of Fatima Jinnah Colony still await government’s attention.
Locals say that they have numerous times registered complaint against the matter but no heed has still been paid to their area.
Piles of garbage outside the homes and overflowing gutters have made it hard for the residents to step out from their homes.
Moreover, the filth and polluted water has also attracted a large number of flies and mosquitoes, putting the life of the residents at risk.
