The elections were conducted in a kind of secrecy. They were held and concluded in total silence and even the results are out.
The secret elections were held at Bilawal House in Karachi on Saturday and Sunday. According to results, Farhatullah Babar has been elected secretary general of PPPP, Moula Bakhsh Chandio its information secretary and Saleem Manwviwala finance secretary. Nayyar Bukhari has been elected general secretary of PPP whereas Chaudhry Manzoor is elected its information secretary.
However, the best part is that Bilawal wasn’t even in Karachi at the time of these elections. Similarly, Nayyar Bukhari and Saleem Mandviwala were also absent from the elections.
On the other hand, oil lamps were lit in Karachi’s New Chaali area to rejoice the election of Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
