PTI's internal matters aggravate as party's crisis deepens in Punjab

PTI even failed in securing seat for district chairman in Imran Khan's stronghold Mianwali.

LAHORE (Daily Dunya) - Internal matters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are aggravating as outcomes of local body polls demonstrates that party is facing grave crisis in Punjab, revealed Dunya News Senior Analyst and Anchorperson Kamran Khan in his program.

Kamran Khan said that PTI even failed in securing seat for district chairman in Imran Khan’s stronghold Mianwali and PTI’s candidates voted for PML-N’s candidates in Faisalabad which unveiled emergence of crisis in party.

He further said that a forward block in PTI constituting of five MPAs and six MNAs ceaselessly glues corruption allegations with KP government.

Party’s vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi repudiated this analysis while presenting PTI’s stance in Kamran Khan’s program.

Qureshi claimed that PTI had achieved desired results in LG polls. He said that PTI had secured seats in many tehsils including Pakpattan and Attock.

The PTI leader further revealed that party’s leadership had slapped show-cause notices on those members who voted for PML-N’s candidates and they were asked to clarify their positions at earliest upon failure of which they would be kicked out of the party.

We are writing letter to Speaker NA for removal of four dissident members from the parliament who have contested election on PTI’s symbol, quoted Qureshi.

Qureshi rued defeat in Mianwali, saying that as many as 37 chairmen came to Bani Gala and pledged to vote for PTI’s candidate but later a division erupted between them.

Qureshi said a show-cause notice had also been served to them.
