Faisalabad: Factory making cooking oil from remains of chicken sealed
Punjab Food Authority raided the factory and seized 56,000 litres of cooking oil from the factory
FAISALABAD: (Dunya News) – Punjab Food Authority on Tuesday raided a factory making cooking oil from the remains of chicken and sealed it after seizing 56,000 litres of oil, reported Dunya News.
The factory was located on Samundri Road. It had the license of preparing soap from the remains of the chicken but was instead producing cooking oil illegally, according to the authority officials.
The officials found 56,000 litres of oil being prepared and the packing material. The factory owners however fled the scene. Sealing the factory, Punjab Food Authority officials filed a case against the factory owners at the local police station.
