Mishal Malik offers prayers for PK-661 crash victims
Notable names including Mishal Malik visit PIMS Hospital and light up candles outside.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Candles have been lit up outside Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital in Islamabad, on Sunday, as a tribute to martyrs of the tragic crash of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-661 in Havelian, reported Dunya News.
A special ceremony outside PIMS Hospital was arranged to offer prayers for the victims. Mishal Malik, wife of Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik, attended the occasion along with a large number of residents and took part in lighting up the candles.
Meanwhile, only nine bodies of martyrs have yet been handed over to the relatives of plane crash victims. The tragedy resulted in death of all 48 passengers onboard in flight PK-661. The martyrs include musician-turned religious scholar Junaid Jamshed and Deputy Commissioner Chitral Osama Warraich.
