LHC CJ orders daily hearings of Punjab land scam case
Civil judge has summoned counsels of the two parties at 09:00pm on Wednesday
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Justice (CJ) of Lahore High Court (LHC), Mansoor Ali Shah has ordered on Tuesday to hold hearings of Punjab land scam case on daily basis.
]After CJ’s order, hearing of the land scam has been initiated on daily basis of the cases that were in courts for past 16 years against forged verdicts and orders.
Civil judge has summoned counsels of the two parties at 09:00pm on Wednesday.
Earlier, Dunya News exposed a major land scam, purported as the biggest in Pakistan’s history that involved grabbing 1.93 lac canal pieces of land in Punjab using forged orders of courts.
CJ’s order came in a day after Director General (DG) of anti-corruption department recorded statements of the corruption-affectees in Lahore.
