PSP leader says Rehman Bhola was just suspect, not convicted; he was member of MQM, says Kamal
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) leader Mustafa Kamal has on Saturday said that Abdul Rehman Bhola was never a part of his party. He said that the Baldi Town factory suspect was only a suspect as yet and hadn’t been convicted, reported Dunya News.
Talking to media in Lahore, Mustafa Kamal said that it wasn’t possible for any Tom, Dick or Harry to join PSP, and Rehman Bhola was never a part of the party. He said that Bhola was actually a sector in-charge of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
Talking about party’s links with former president Pervez Musharraf, Kamal said that the party had nothing to do with Musharraf.

According to police, Abdul Rehman Bhola is a prime suspect in Baldia Town factory tragedy and allegedly one of the three key men behind the tragedy that culminated into deaths of 257 people. Former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) operational officials Hammad Siddique, Zubair Chariya and Abdul Rehman Bhola are accused of setting the factory on fire for not paying Rs 200 million in extortion.
After the arrest, Bangkok’s crime suppression division handed Bhola to the local police. Dunya News also obtained the footage of inquiry from Abdul Rehman Bhola.
Bangkok police’s senior officials can be seen probing Abdul Rehman Bhola in the footage. Sources told Dunya News that Bhola will be handed over to Pakistani officials on Monday. FIA has formed a two-member team comprising Rehmat Ullah Domki and Badr ud-Din Baloch to take Bhola into custody and bring him to Pakistan.
