PM visits late Jahangir Badar's bereaved family in Lahore
He would extend the terms he enjoyed with late Badar with his family, the premier said.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif paid a visit on Saturday to bereaved family of senior leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), late Jahangir Badar’s to condole his death.
Premier’s son, Hussain Nawaz accompanied Nawaz Sharif on Lahore visit.
While talking to media before his departure, the premier said that he shared a memorable relationship with the politician and that he respected vision and approach to politics of his opponents.
PM Nawaz said that he would extend the terms he enjoyed with late Badar with his family and children.
The premier acknowledged late PPP leader’s democratic politics and said that his struggle for democracy in the country would be remembered.
Jahangir Badar passed away nearly a week ago and his funeral was held in Punjab University (PU) which was attended by several notable senior leaders of PPP including Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly (NA), Khurshid Shah and Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah.
Chairman of PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also paid a visit to the bereaved family earlier this week.
