Turkish President expresses gratitude over CM Punjab's hospitality

Erdogan took to twitter to thank his hosts for their exceptional hospitality.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Turkish President Reccep Tayip Erdogan thanked Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Shehbaz Sharif for showing admirable hospitality during his visit to Lahore.

After Erdogan reached Turkey, he took to twitter and said, “The hospitality that the friendly and brotherly Pakistani people and the state showed us during our visit made us happy for the time being.”

While expressing gratitude to his hosts he wrote, “I thank our beautiful hosts on our visit to Pakistan, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain.”

Pleased by the hospitality in Lahore, the Turkish President said, “I express my gratitude to the Chief Minister of Punjab province Shehbaz Sharif for showing great hospitality and kindness during our visit to Lahore.”

CM Punjab while replying to the Turkish President’s commendation and appreciation wrote, “Dear Brother Erdogan, it is an honor for us to welcome you. I wish you safe trip. Long live Pakistan-Turkey friendship!”

He also declared Pakistan as Erdogan’s second home.

Erdogan even gave his greetings to the Pakistani people, “I believe that the relationship between Turkey and Pakistan will increase even more in the coming period, and I convey my greetings to the people of Pakistan.”

On Thursday, the Turkish President concluded his two-day trip to Pakistan with a dinner hosted at Lahore Fort by CM Punjab.

A cultural show was also organized on the occasion in which renowned singer Hadiqa Kayani and Arif Lohar enthralled the audience through their melodious voice.
