Seven soldiers embraced martyrdom as Indian forces yet again resorted to cross-fire LoC violation

JHELUM (Dunya News) – Army Chief General Raheel Sharif offered Nimaz-e-Janaza of soldiers martyred in Indian firing at LoC s Bhimber Sector. DG Military Intelligence and Corps Commander were also present on the occasion.

According to details, seven soldiers embraced martyrdom as Indian forces yet again resorted to cross-fire LoC violation late last night. The martyrs included Hawaldar - Zafar Hussain, Ibrar Ahmad Awan, Lance Naik Muhammad Shaukat, Lance Naik Muhammad Halim, Sepoy Pervaiz, Sepoy Muhammad Ilyas and Sepoy Muhammad Tanveer.

The dead bodies of martyrs were carried to their hometowns after the funeral prayers being offered.

Later on, Army Chief General Raheel Sharif was also briefed on the recent situation across the Line of control. He paid homage to the martyrs and expressed that a befitting response will be given to Indian aggression.

Army Chief also vowed that we will leave no stones unturned for defending our country against any aggression and its safety.
