Load-shedding to be reduced to half from today
Power load-shedding in urban areas will be reduced to three hours and rural areas to four hours.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Power load-shedding across the country will be reduced to half from today (Tuesday) on the directives of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Dunya News reported.
According to Ministry of Water and Power, electricity load-shedding in urban areas will be reduced from six hours to three hours and in rural areas from eight hours to four hours on the directives of the Prime Minister.
The Ministry of Water and Power further informed that in areas where majority does not pay electricity bills or low recovery areas, load-shedding will remain the same.
The Prime Minister has tasked the Secretary Water and Power to effectively implement the decision.
