Indian forces resorted to unprovoked firing across Line of Control and Working Boundary

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan has once again lodged a protest over the unprovoked firing across Line of Control (LoC) and working boundary by the Indian forces.

According to details, Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh was summoned by the Director General (South Asia and South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation), Dr. Faisal and handed over the protest letter to the envoy.

It was stated in the protest letter that the Indian forces resorted to unprovoked firing across Line of Control and Working Boundary on Oct 25 and 26 and targeted innocent civilians on purpose.

The indiscriminate firing in Bhimber sector resulted in the martyrdom of one civilian as nine locals were also injured during the ceasefire violations.

Pakistan also demanded that India should carry out investigation over the matter and let us know about outcomes in this regard.
