Imran and Aitzaz Ahsan should approach the court if they have evidence in the issue: Rashid

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pervaiz Rashid, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting has demanded Aitzaz Ahsan, Leader of the Opposition in Senate and Imran Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday to present evidence of allegations regarding government-military confrontation news story.

The minister paid a visit to widow of late Amjad Sabri in Karachi and talked to the media as he departed from her residence.

While conversing with the journalists, he said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif had promised the survivors of late qawwal a compensation amount of Rs 10 million and he was there to handover the cheque.

Answering a question, he said that Imran Khan should wait for Supreme Court’s (SC) verdict over Panama leak.

Rashid also talked about the news report published in an English newspaper earlier this month that claimed of a confrontation between civil and military leadership during a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSG).

He said that Imran and Aitzaz Ahsan should approach the court if they have evidence in the issue.
