973rd urs celebrations of Data Sahib commence in Lahore
CM Shahbaz Sharif gives bath to Data Sahib's shrine
LAHORE (Dnuya News) – The formal celebrations of 973rd urs of Hazrat Ali Bin Usman Al-Hajveri famously known as Data Ganj Bakhsh kicked off in Lahore, reported Dunya News.
The urs celebration commenced formally with Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif giving bath to the shrine. The ceremony was also attended by Ishaq Dar and other government officials.
Shahbaz Sharif seemed overcome by emotions as he gave bath to the shrine with rose water. At least, 200kg of rose water was used in the ceremony.
