Flag-lowering ceremony held at Wagha Border with full zeal

Thousands gathered to witness the flag-lowering ceremony at the Wagah and Ganda Sing Border.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Flag-lowering ceremony at Wagha border held with full zeal and enthusiasm on Pakistan Defence Day. Huge number of people was gathered on the occasion. The Wagah Border in Lahore echoed with voices of Allah-o-Akbar and slogans of Pakistan Zindabad.

An active contingent of Pakistan Rangers presented the parade with zeal and fervour telling the enemy that they are ready to offer every sacrifice to defend the country. A neatly turned-out contingent of Pakistan Rangers, when headed forth in its conventional style, to lower the national flag, the excitement rose to the peak.

On the occasion of Defence Day flag-lowering ceremony was also held at Ganda Singh Border, Kasur. Ranger’s enthusiasm was visible. The crowd was charged and encouraging the soldiers. Participants appreciated the tremendous enthusiasm and bravery of Rangers personnel.
