Notification has been issued to Hamza Ali Abbasi by Punjab government

LAHORE: (Web Desk) - And yet another bad news for all the Pyarey Afzal’s diehards as the heart-throb actor is in hot water once again. However, the situation is a bit different this time and it is not Facebook or the religious leaders that are proving to be pain in the neck but someone else; guess who?

It has been confirmed that our very own Hamza Ali Abbasi, aka poor soul, got a legal notice from the government. The prosecution notice issued by the government of Punjab revealed that the Facebook post by the well-known actor is misleading and was tantamount to spread propaganda against the provincial government through a social media portal.

The post declared that at least 900 children were kidnapped in three months which included 400 cases in Lahore alone. While comprehending Hamza’s popularity, especially on social media. The provincial government decided to take necessary measures and the rest is history.

However as they say a true warrior never quits, the same goes for Hamza Ali Abbasi who took to social media (his favorite medium of exchanging information) for a reply. He shared links of popular stories associated with the child abduction case being published in major Pakistani newspapers. The actor further notified that

“Being a common man, I get my news and facts from News Channels and Newspaper articles".

He also mentioned,

“If above mentioned information is wrong, then instead of sending notices to these media outlets from which Pakistanis get their information from, they sent me a notice showing the clear intention of this Dictatorial Govt to take down any popular voice against them”.
