Pakistan yet again offers India to hold talks over Kashmir issue

85 Kashmiris have lost their lives in violent clashes with Indian forces since July 8

NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – Pakistan has yet again offered India to hold talks over the Kashmir issue as Pakistan High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit demanded that the matter be resolved according to the desires of the people of the occupied valley.

Curfew has been imposed in Indian held Kashmir since the past 51 days whereas Pakistan has yet again shown willingness to hold talks with its neighbour over the pertinent issue. While conversing with media after taking part in a book launching ceremony, Abdul Basit emphasised upon the need to solve the Kashmir issue keeping in consideration the desires of the Kashmiri people.

85 Kashmiris have lost their lives in violent clashes with Indian forces since July 8 whereas a number of Kashmiri young men and women have lost their sight as a result of being attacked by the pellet gun used by Indian forces.
