FC, intelligence agencies foil major terror bid in Quetta
Security personnel seized huge cache of ammunition and explosives.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Frontier Corps (FC) and intelligence agencies in a joint operation on Tuesday foiled a sabotage bid in Chapar area of Barkhan in Quetta.
According to FC spokesperson, the timely operation averted the attack.
He revealed that security personnel seized huge cache of ammunition and explosives which include three missile launchers, 60 rocket shells, 46 mortar shells, eight land mines, six kilogram explosives, 150 detonators fuse pressure buttons and other destructive material.
The spokesperson stated that the terrorists were planning to target public and security forces on August 26, which is the death anniversary of Akbar Bugti.
