MQM hunger strike went on for the second day, against the arrests and raids at their offices

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Opposition leader Khurshid Shah visited Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) hunger strike camp on the second day, reported Dunya News.

MQM are protesting against arrests and raids at their offices whereas Khurshid Shah said that Prime Minister (PM) should play his part to do something about the reservations of MQM, as boycott of MQM would be a threat to democracy.

MQM’s deputy convener Farooq Sattar said that Khurshid Shah’s arrival gave them hope that brotherhood of politics is still alive. He asked that why are those arrested, who have no charges against them.

On the second day of hunger strike, MQM’s member Awaisul Hassan got conscious and received medical aid before he was part of the strike once again.
