Singh shall bring up discussion about Pathankot incident during SAARC Conference: Indian media

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Indian Minister of Home Affairs Rajnath Singh reached Islamabad on Wednesday in order to take part in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Conference, reported Dunya News.

SAARC Director General (DG) and Indian High Commissioner welcomed Singh at the airport. The delegates attending the conference shall discuss about the progress made in the ongoing war against terrorism, drug abuse and the measures taken against trafficking of women and children.

Relaxation upon visa-policy for nationals of SAARC countries shall also be brought under discussion during the meeting.

Singh is paying visit to Pakistan at a time when thousands of innocent Kashmiris have suffered injuries at the hands of Indian forces whereas dozens have lost their lives.

At the other hand, Indian media organisations including NDTV, Times of India, Zee News and other media giants were spreading propaganda that the country’s home minister shall bring up discussion related to the Pathankot attack during the SAARC Conference whereas the Indian government has yet not been able to prove Pakistan’s involvement in the incident.
