Qaim Ali Shah will tender his resignation anytime now after a formal announcement was made yesterday

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has nominated Khurram Sher Zaman to contest for Chief Minister of Sindh vacancy after Qaim Ali Shah is about to move his resignation to Dr Ishratul Ibad, reported Wednesday.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s senior leader and member of the National Assembly, Dr Arif Alvi has stated in a message of social media website that PTI deliberated and held sittings to finalise a name that could change the fate of Sindh and put it on a fast track progress.

For that, it had to be Khurram Zaman as he is sincere about betterment in the province unlike candidates of other parties, he said.

Pakistan People’s Party’s Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari formally announced Finance Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah as party’s nominee to replace Qaim Ali Shah as the Chief Minister.

Reportedly, the people’s party is establishing contacts with members of the opposition and different political parties to give Murad their vote of confidence in the assembly at the time of voting.

In a statement, Bilawal appreciated Qaim Ali Shah’s efforts for what he did for the welfare of the people of the Sindh using the powers that he was given.

The decision to remove Qaim Ali Shah from the post was taken in a high-level meeting held in Dubai by former president Asif Ali Zardari and son Bilawal.
