Two officers martyred, one dacoit killed in police encounter in Rawalpindi
Investigation into the matter has been launched to nab more culprits.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – At least two police officers embraced martyrdom while one dacoit was killed in an encounter in Rawalpindi, reported on Sunday.
According to details, the incident took place in Naseerabad near a private mill when a dacoit opened indiscriminate firing at police officers who were on patrolling in the area.
Two officers lost their lives on the spot while the retaliation from police killed the suspect. The martyred personnel have been identified as Head Constable Nadir and Constable Imran.
Moreover, investigation into the matter has been launched to nab more culprits.
