PM Nawaz dedicates happiness of Eid to soldiers fighting for country

Soldiers taking part in Zarb-e-Azb deserve our commendation, says the Prime Minister

LONDON (Dunya News) – In a statement issued on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif stated that the everyone should pledge not get involved in any negative activity during the occasion, adding that the government shall continue working for the country’s betterment and prosperity, reported Dunya News.

PM Nawaz thanked God Almighty for blessings of the holy month of Ramazan and stated that everyone should try to assist their relatives, neighbours and the needy if they were in need of any sort of uplifting.

Prime Minister stated that those who were abroad and were fulfilling responsibilities for the country during the religious festival cannot be forgotten on the special occasion.

Nawaz said that the soldiers taking part in Operation Zarb-e-Azb deserved commendation from the entire nation, adding that officers belonging to Pakistan army, police, Frontier Corps (FC) and other law enforcement agencies were busy fighting for the country, further stating that these soldiers spent their festival by ensuring the happiness and safety of the nation.

Prime Minister said that he dedicated all the happiness of the Eid to these fighters of the land on his behalf and that of the entire nation and also prayed that: "May God bring them (the soldiers) success in every battle and may they celebrate the upcoming festivals with their loved ones."

PM stated in his message that everyone should pledge not to be part of any unfortunate activity adding that the nation should also commit to keep working for the prosperity and happiness of Pakistan.

Prime Minister said that the country s enemies know that our power is in our culture and heritage as we have the potential to unite in troubled times.

“The enemies know that we can overcome religious and political differences,” Nawaz stated.
