Tripped feeders will be restored to working condition in no time: K-Electric

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Residents of Karachi on Wednesday were delighted over rains and pleasant weather after a long period of time, parallel to their happiness they have also been facing difficulties due to administrative incompetence, reported Dunya News.

Due to Monsoon, 390 power feeders of the city were tripped leaving 30pc of the city plunged into darkness.

Debachi, Papri and Gharo pumping stations were also closed due to power outage causing, even more, difficulties for citizens due to unavailability of 260 million gallons of water following electricity shortage to water pumps.

Electricity in the areas of Gulistan e Johar, Federal.B Area, Malir, Landhi, Korangi and Baldia could not be restored bringing a complete jam to daily life. K-Electric officials stated that tripped feeders will be restored to working condition in no time.
