Dunya News special transmission, covering problems of small and big industries surfaced due to prolonged disruption of electricity and gas supply, remained continued all day live from Ghanta Ghar Faislabad. Representatives of political parties, industries and traders informed the viewers about their suggestions and problems. All the textile units have remained shut on Thursday for the third consecutive day owing to suspension of gas and electricity supply to the industrial areas in Faisalabad. Shortage of yarn also added to the miseries of already suffering textile industry. Around 30 percent industry is already closed due to crises while some 450 industries got paralyzed owing to the prolonged gas loadshedding. On the other hand, over 40 percent powerlooms have been closed down rendering 40,000 labourers jobless.
