Corrupt leaders are making others accountable: Saad Rafique

Saad said income of Railways has increased one hundred percent from Rs 18 billion to Rs 36 billions.

NANKANA SAHIB (Web Desk) - Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq lashed out at opposition and said that those who did corruption in Hajj pilgrims’ money are now making others accountable, reported on Sunday.

Saad Rafique said it seems that opposition parties do not want investigation into Panama leaks as they are not finalizing Terms of References (TORs).

He advised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to not cross red line while he also suggested Imran Khan to remove his sun glasses and focus on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) development.

Talking about Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), he said that the leaders should also hold march against their own KP finance minister.

He said complete turn-around of Pakistan Railways has been realized and efforts are being made to make it a profitable department.

He was addressing the ceremony of rehabilitation work of Nankana Railway Station in Nankana Sahib on Sunday.

The Minister said income of Railways has increased one hundred percent from 18 billion rupees to 36 billion rupees in three years.

He said the strength of train passengers has also increased to ten million.

The Minister said six railway stations are reconstructed and rehabilitated in first phase.
