Pervaiz Rashid appointed committee chairman for ECP members' appointment
There were speculations that Rashid had earned his reward for bowing before Khurshid Shah
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid on Friday has been appointed as unopposed chairman of parliamentary committee for Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) members’ appointment, reported Dunya News.
There were speculations that Rashid had earned his reward for bowing before Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah and touching his knees. Rashid s appointment as committee chairman was only possible due to Shah’s least interest towards opponent recommendation against Rashid, said rumours.
