Anees Qaimkhani ordered to target Zulfiqar Mirza, Afaq, others, reveals alleged target killer

JIT has compiled its report in the matter

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Arrested target killer, associated with Muttahida Qaumi Movement, named Ahmed Saeed alias Saeed Bharam has revealed that PSP leader, Anees Qaimkhani tasked him with murdering former home minister Zulfiqar Mirza among others, reported Tuesday.

Saeed has made these sensational revelations before a Joint Investigation Team that was given the responsibility of interrogation and bringing facts to the fore.

A report was compiled by the team in the matter according to which, Bharam revealed that at least 13 target killers fled the country after a targeted operation was launched in Karachi in September 2013, the charge of which was given to paramilitary force, the Rangers.

Saeed stated that Pak Sarzameen Party’s leader, Anees Qaimkhani had asked him to kill Mirza, Shahi Saeed and an MQM renegade and chief of Mohajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi, Afaq Ahmed.

Sindh Governor, Ishratul Ibad’s brother, Amirul Ibad was bribed using extortion money to have an illegal paint house built in Bahadurabad area, according to the arrested killer. He has also let out names of nine MQM leaders who are allegedly involved in land-grabbing crimes.

Saeed said that hundreds of MQM workers were trained by Research and Analysis Wing in India for target killings and other crimes to spread unrest.

The target killer has revealed some of the code words used for different kinds of weapons. Saeed said that ‘pencil’ was used to refer to pistol, ‘channa’ was used for explosives, ‘computer’ for Kalashnikov while rocket launchers were called ‘pipes’.

Criminal affiliated with political party further stated that Hammad Siddiqui, a senior member of MQM had ordered to scuttle  Mohabbat-e-Sindh  rally after which Amir alias Sarphatta opened fire at the participants.

Rangers had copped Amir in a raid at MQM headquarters in Nine Zero last year.  Mohabbat-e-Sindh  rally firing had claimed six lives while left 22 wounded.
