Bodies of two children recovered from pond at Lahore Race Club
The deceased have been identified as seven-year-old Shafaqat and eight-year-old Abdul Rehman.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Bodies of two children, who went missing around 2:00 pm yesterday, have been recovered from a pond at Lahore Race Club in Kot Lakhpat area on Friday morning, Dunya News reported.
The deceased have been identified as seven-year-old Shafaqat and eight-year-old Abdul Rehman.
Police were notified about the bodies when Lahore Race Club workers took horses to pond for bath. Relatives of the children and a large number of locals immediately gathered at the spot.
According to police, the children apparently drowned in the pond, however, the case will be investigated from every angle.
Their bodies have been sent to hospital for post-mortem.
