Quetta: Blast at Spini road leaves 2 dead, nine injured
Police initiated a search operation in the area after cordoning it off
QUETTA (Dunya News) – A blast at Spini Road in Quetta near a police mobile has resulted in the martyrdom of two policemen and has injured several others, reported Dunya News on Tuesday.
The blast occurred at around 8pm when the police mobile was passing near a bus station. Sources indicate that the blast was carried out through a time-device. The police mobile was badly damaged as a result of the blast.
Police and rescue teams rushed towards the crime scene upon receiving news of the incident whereas the Bomb Disposal Squad was also summoned.
The injured were shifted to the Civil hospital. Balochistan Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti paid visit to the crime scene and stated that our morale cannot be reduced through such incidents carried out by the terrorists. Police initiated a search operation in the area after cordoning it off.
