IG Sindh forms committee to probe termination of 1800 personnel
In 2012, dismissed personnel were recruited in Sindh Reserve Police
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Inspector General of Police (IG) Sindh A.D Khawaja has formed investigative committee on Tuesday over dismissal of 1800 police personnel, reported Dunya News.
The committee includes DIG South Munir Sheikh, DIG Sindh Reserve Police (SRP) Asif Ijaz Sheikh and Assistant IG Establishment Naeem Ahmad Sheikh while the committee has been convened by Additional IG Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Sanaullah Abbasi.
The committee would complete the report and present before IG Sindh within 10 days. Committee will also review the pleas of terminated police personnel of reserve police. In 2012, dismissed personnel were recruited in Sindh Reserve Police.
