One dead, three injured in Faisalabad roof collapse
The roof collapsed due to burden of construction material.
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – A woman was killed and four were injured when roof of an under-construction house caved-in in Faisalabad on Tuesday.
The incident occurred near Novelty Bridge where work was underway on third floor of a building.

The roof collapsed due to burden of construction material as a result of which the bottom two floors also demolished.

Two workers, a woman and her two daughters were entrapped under the debris.
Rescue officials evacutaing the people entrapped under rubble
Rescue teams reached the scene on getting information and initiated operation. Administrative Officer also arrived at the collapse site.

The workers and girls were recovered from the rubble and shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment, however; the woman identified as Najma died on being evacuated after 40 minutes.
