Autopsy report proves Aftab died due to physical torture: Farooq Sattar
Revenge being taken from MQM under the guise of operation in Karachi: Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) party leaders and workers gathered in large numbers Thursday at the residence of Aftab Ahmed who was appointed as MQM senior leader Farooq Sattar s coordinator. The gathering marked the 3rd day since Ahmed died while in the custody of Rangers. Speaking on the occasion, Sattar stated that Ahmed autopsy report has proven that he died due to the physical torture afflicted on him.
The senior MQM leader stated that the Army Chief General Raheel Shareef has promised to fulfill the demands for justice. Sattar said that many things had become clear after Ahmed s death. He stated that MQM had been saying this for a long time that everything that was happening was not good, there was something wrong somewhere.
Talking to the media at his residence MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that revenge was being taken from MQM under the guise of the operation being conducted in Karachi
MQM leaders stated that Aftab’s case is very important and heads of the institutions are supposed to catch the black sheep involved in violence.
The leaders and workers also offered pryaer at Ahmed s grave in Yaseenabad.
