Price of furnace oil increased up to Rs 900
Increased oil price can also lead to hike in electricity price.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The authorities have increased the price of furnace up to Rs 900, reported on Monday.
According to details, the concerning department have raised imported furnace oil price from Rs 25,986 to Rs 26,886 whereas local oil’s price has reached Rs 30,181 from Rs 29,311.
The experts have stated that the increase in price of oil used in power stations can also lead to hike in electricity price in future.
The economy specialists urged the government to speed up projects based on solar energy so that the locals can utilize cheap electricity.
Earlier, price of fuel was Rs 50,00/ ton in the start of 2016 and it reduced to around Rs 25,000/ton, providing relief to the industrial owner in production process.
