Karachi: Rangers recover arms on MQM's arrested worker's revelations
Recovered ammunition includes 7 light machine-guns, large supply of automatic weapons and other ammo
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Rangers recovered a huge cache of arms Friday during a raid conducted at a factory in Furniture Market area of Liaqatabad, Karachi. According to a statement issued by Sindh Rangers, the raid was conducted in light of the revelations made by an arrested worker of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) militant wing during interrogation.
According to the details, Rangers found huge cache of ammunition including Russian-made machine guns and other automatic weapons hidden in secret compartments of sofas and other furniture. Rangers Spokesperson has stated that the armaments were to be used for target-kill and creating instability in the city.
The recovered ammunition includes 7 light machine-guns, a large supply of automatic weapons and other ammo.
An interrogation with the suspects is underway and further revelations are expected.
