Ayaz rejects Pervaiz Rashid's stance on PTV

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Talking exclusively to Dunya News, Speaker National Assembly (NA) Speaker Ayaz Sadiq said that he has nothing to do with live coverage of NA via Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV); the state television is permitted to broadcast the session live from his end, reported Dunya News.
The Speaker said that the government broadcasts the session out its own choice. He also said that PTV is not my subsidiary. Ministry of Information permits the channel to do so.
He also said that he told Minister of Information Pervaiz Rashid to provide equipment for live coverage of the session, however he was not told about any coverage which would not be aired, he added.
On the other hand, Rashid released a statement and said that live broadcast can be aired over the very directions of the Speaker; he has no issues if anyone can be elected as Prime Minister (PM) through 17 seats, he added.
