Power tariff reduced for industries by Rs. 3 per unit
The notification has been issued reducing power tariff by Rs. 3 per unit for industrial sector
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Notification has on Thursday been issued reducing power tariff by Rs. 3 per unit for the industrial sector, reported Dunya News.
According to the notification issued by Ministry of Water and Power, the reduction in the price has been done in accordance with the instructions given by Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and the only objective behind it is to provide relief to the industrial sector and increase the exports.
The implementation of the electricity tariff will be considered from January 1, 2016. All the distribution companies, including K-Electric, have been issued the instructions in this regard.
