No funds received from federal govt for flood recovery: Iftikhar
Information Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that the provincial government has distributed 4.70 crore among the family members of 148 persons who killed in floods in the province. In a press conference in Peshawar, he said that financial help of flood affectees has been started and funds have been issued to DCOs of all districts. He said that it was also being tried to pay at least Rs 20,000 to each flood-hit family. He said that federal government didnt pay any funds for flood recovery.
