The freedom fighter was arrested from Anant Naag, he was visiting martyred youth Zahid's family

SRINAGAR: (Dunya News) – Indian freedom leader Yasin Malik openly abused the Indian army as they arrested him on Tuesday while visiting the family of Kashmiri youth Zahid, who was martyred by Indian army in Anant Naag, reported Dunya News.

Indian army arrested Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Muhammad Yasin Malik. Earlier, several Kashmiri freedom leaders were arrested by the Indian army after being tortured. The arrested leaders included Javed Ahmed Mir, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Muhammad Ibqal Mir and Muhammad Ahsan Anto. The arrested leaders were leading a protest rally from Matango to Islamabad when the Indian army attacked them and injured several of the leaders as well as protesters.

Indian army has a history of brutality and tyranny in Kashmir but the recent developments have literally exposed the real face of the Indian armed forces. The way they have tried to suppress the voice of the people of Kashmir has enraged not only the Muslims of Kashmir but also the non-Muslims living in the valley. Recently, a video showed Kashmiri Sikhs chanting ‘Kashmir Bane Ga Pakistan’ (Kashmir will be Pakistan) slogans in Baramulla.

The outrage has been widespread and the way the Indian authorities have tried to handle the matters proved why the Kashmiris want freedom from the tyrannical rule.
