LB polls: LHC annuls district election commission's verdict about delimitation
District election commission stated that the accusations are false and baseless.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday has declared the verdict of district election commission regarding delimitation as null and void, Dunya News reported.
During the hearing, petitioner’s counsel alleged that the commission has not decided the Lahore union councils (UCs) on merit for local bodies election therefore, he appealed to nullify the list of delimitations.
On the other hand, election commission stated that the accusations are false.
Subsequently, the court has annulled the decision and sent back to commission for alteration.
