Military court sentences 7 APS, Safura terrorists to death
The military court sentenced 7 terrorists involved in APS Peshawar, Safura incidents, COAS approved
RAWALPINDI: (Dunya News) – Military court has on Thursday sentenced 7 terrorists involved in Army Public School (APS) Peshawar and Safura incidents. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has also approved of the punishments, Dunya News reported.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) department, military court has sentenced 7 terrorists involved in APS Peshawar and Safura terror attacks. 6 out of the 7 terrorists sentenced to death were involved in APS Peshawar attack while 1 was involved in Safura carnage.
One of the terrorists involved in APS Peshawar attack Kifayat Ullah has been sentenced to life imprisonment. Those sentenced to death include Hazrat Ali, Mujeebur Rehman, Taj Muhammad, Attique ur-Rehman, Maulvi Abdus Salam and Farhan.
ISPR told that the criminals were given complete freedom to defend themselves. However, they still have the right of appeal.
