Election Commission ready to hold local body elections in Punjab, Sindh
Election Commission told SC it is ready to hold local body elections during first week of October
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Election Commission has on Friday expressed readiness before Supreme Court (SC) for holding local body elections in Punjab and Sindh during the first week of October, reported Dunya News.
Election Commission told the SC that the first phase of local body elections in Punjab and Sindh will be completed by the first week of October and the second phase may get completed in November.
According to sources, Election Commission has started work on the possible schedule of the local body elections in the two provinces.
