KARACHI (Dunya News) – Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has added all former directors of Karachi Development Authority (KDA) in investigation for china cutting. Police has declared Muhammad Syed, former director KDA, as fugitive in china cutting (grabbing land of public places) case, reported Dunya News.
FIA has summoned all former directors of KDA to record their statements in an attempt to curb land mafia in Karachi.
According to FIA officials, railway land has been sold at extremely low prices by china cutting. The KDA is involved in china cutting in all parts of the city.

An investigative police report by police during the trial of former Director Land Revenue Masroor Siddiqui and Mujibullah Siddiqui read that Muhammad Hussain has been booked in two cases of china cutting adding that he also used to extort from officers of land department.
On the other hand, Chief Secretary has ordered open inquiries to be held on the individuals involved in illegal allotment of land and making fake documents. The individuals include Director Land Mumtaz Haq, Director Operations Land Muhammad Nawaz and Director Operations Land Management Nasir Abbas.
