Ghotki's Rawanti washed away by floods, no relief activity started

At least 1.25 lac people have been affected in Kacha area

GHOTKI (Dunya News ) – Ranwanti of Kacha area is reported to be completed washed away by floods in River Sindh however, administration has not started any rescue activity until Wednesday.

Administration had established a relief camp comprising of few tents but officials have parked motorcycles there to protect them against rains. The locals are living without shelters during monsoon showers using shopping bags to protect children.

At least 1.25 lac people have been affected in Kacha area. Pakistan Army and Rangers personnel have started work on the Qadirpur Shenk dyke which was declared sensitive during monsoon season.

A medical camp has also been established at the dyke in Pano Aqil Cantonment 16 Division for treatment of the affected families.
